Biography

Gwendolyn A. Young was born April 17, 1949 in Port Clinton, Ohio to the union of James Young and Mary Ruth (Turner) Young. She died on Saturday, June 19, 2010. She was the second of four children.

She is survived by son, Omari (Shequeliah Oliver); grandson DeLars A. Young; brothers, James Young, Courtland Young of Mississippi and sister, Jane Denise Bonney of Detroit, Michigan, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Memorial services will be Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 11am at Grace Presbyterian Church, Reverend Langston Bannister, pastor and officiant.
